- Endophytic fungi is microbial that live in the tissues of host plants, without give a negative effect on the host plants. One of the plants that have endophytic fungi in its tissues is the seagrass Enhalus acoroides. This research was conducted in April. July 2018. Samples were taken from Hurun Bay, South Lampung. This research aims to isolate, characterize, and identify endophytic fungi in seagrass Enhalus acoroides. This research methods are isolation of endophytic fungi with streak method, morphological characteristics with the slide culture method, and identification of endophytic fungi. The results of this research were twelve endophytic fungi isolated and ten isolated were identified from six genus, namely four isolated from the Pennici/ium sp. genus, two isolated from the Culvularia sp. genus, and each one isolated from Fusarium sp., Nigrospora sp., Trichoderma sp., and Aspergillus sp. The most characteristics of endophytic fungi were obtained have a texture like cotton.
