  • This study aims to obtain information about effect of auditory intellectually repetition (AIR) on understanding of concepts students class XI on motion system material at SMA Negeri 14 Palembang. The research method used was Quasi Experimental with Noquivalent Control Group Design research design. Determination of research sample using Simple Random Sampling. The instruments of data collection is done by tests in the form of multiple choice questions, observation of learning implementation and questionnaire responses of students. The understanding of concept category of this research use that is interpreting, exemplifying, classifying, summarising, inferring, comparing and explaining. The results of the analysis showed an increase in the test of understanding of conceptstudents with an average initial test score of 34,93 and a final test of 78,36 and n-gain value of 0,66 with a moderate category. Based on the statistical test, normality of data gain above 0,005 which means normal data, followed by hypothesis testing using t-test with sign value 0,001 means Ho rejected and H1 accepted. This means that the AIR has a significant effect on understanding concept of students. So that concluded that learning using model auditory intellectually repetition (AIR) can improve understanding of concept students class XI on motion system material at SMA Negeri 14 Palembang
