DETERMINAN KEJADIAN PENYAKIT REMATIK PADA USIA ≥15 TAHUN DI INDONESIA (ANALISIS DATA INDONESIAN FAMILY LIFE SURVEY (IFLS) 2014)
Daftar Isi:
- Rheumatic disease is the most common musculoskeletal disease. Rheumatism is a disease that is generally considered trivial by the community, because it does not cause death. Even if the arthritis is not immediately treated, it can make the limbs function abnormally and can even cause disability for life. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of rheumatic disease in Indonesia by using 2014 IFLS data. This study is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional study design and sampling using multistage random sampling so that a sample of 29,106 respondents was obtained accordingly. with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data analysis using complex samples analysis consisting of three stages, namely univariate, bivariate with simple logistic regression test and multivariate using multiple logistic regression prediction models. The results showed that rheumatic disease was found in 1519 respondents (5.2%). The most dominant and unmodified variables that influence the incidence of rheumatic disease are sex variables after being controlled by variables of age, education, physical activity, protein consumption, obesity, and accident history (PR = 1,686; 95% CI = 1,488-1,910). While the most dominant and modifiable variables that influence the incidence of rheumatic disease are obesity variables after being controlled by variables of age, sex, education, physical activity, protein consumption, and accident history (PR = 1,630; 95% CI = 1,433-1,855). Controlling weight, applying a healthy lifestyle such as physical activity that is appropriate, sufficient, and regular and avoiding foods that can trigger rheumatism need to be done as a form of prevention of the incidence of rheumatic diseases.
