PENILAIAN GREENSHIP PADA BANGUNAN GEDUNG KOMERSIAL DI KOTA PALEMBANG

- Green building is a newly planned and constructed, or an existing building that operated in accordance to enviromental or ecosystem factors: land-use wisdom, indoor air quality, save water, save energy, save material, and zero waste (Indonesian Green Building Council). This research aims to assess the rates of green building concept applied on a commercial building in Palembang city. In this study, the assessment's object is Harper Hotel Palembang. The assessment results that Harper Hotel Palembang building has applied green building concept in rates of 62%, refers to greenship assessment criterias. By that means, 5 out of 7 appropriate site development criterias, 2 out of 5 energy efficiency and conservation criterias, 5 out of 6 water conservation criterias, 3 out of 6 material resource and cycle criterias, 4 out of 7 indoor health and comfort criterias, and 2 out of 3 building enviromental management criterias, has applied the green building concept. A number of sub-criterias selected as solution or recommendation to increase the green building rate percentage are: on site renewable energy, water recycling, advanced waste management, CO2 monitoring, and environmental tobacco smoke control.
