- The objective of the research were for the evaluation of the artificial insemination of swamp buffalo in Desa Salo, Pasir Sialang Kampar District, Riau. The research were conducted from May to Jun 2011, and all animal acceptors the sub-district were analized for the Service Per-Conception (S/C), Non- Return Rate (NR), and Conception Rate (CR). The results of the research indicated that the S/C were normal (1.26-1.43); the conception rate were normal (62.98%), and the value of NR 76.21 % also high enough compared to the other region in Indonesia. The result of the research indicated that the IB in program for swamp buffalo in the Desa Salo and desa Pasir Sialang, Kampar District, were very good.
