USULAN PERBAIKAN PROSES PENGAMBILAN BARANG (PICKING) DENGAN METODE “ROUTING HEURISTIK” DI PT.XYZ

- ABSTRAK PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang logistik, dimana perusahaan tersebut mendistribusikan makanan, minuman dan produk kemasan ke restoran ternama di inndonesia. PT. XYZ memiliki stock center yang lengkap dengan jaringan distribusi di berbagai negara . Di Indonesia sendiri, PT. XYZ memiliki kantor pusat yang juga berperan sebagai warehouse yang berlokasi di Jakarta Timur dengan stock awal ± 9.000 produk dengan berbagai macam karakteristik. Warehouse PT. XYZ memiliki luas 2175 m2 dengan menggunakan fasilitas racking 2 lantai, serta dilengkapi dengan pallet selfing untuk menyimpan barang barang yang memiliki volume besar dan berat. PT. XYZ mempunyai banyak customer restoran di seluruh indonesia yang melakukan purchase order dengan jumlah items yang tidak sedikit. Sehingga perlu diperhatikan manajemen order picking-nya oleh manajemen di warehouse. Berdasarkan summary hasil perhitungan jarak tempuh saat proses picking dapat dilihat bahwa kurangnya metode yang di terapkan pada saat proses picking.Sementara jumlah order yang semakin meningkat hal ini akan sangat menghambat saat proses picking. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan terhadap 5 Picking List, diketahui bahwa tingkat keberhasilan Metode Routing S-Shape dalam menghasilkan jarak tempuh dan waktu tempuh sangat signifikan yaitu 11,9 %. Dari Hasil Persentase tersebut menunjukkan banyaknya penghematan yang diberikan metode S-Shape. Namun dari segi implementasi untuk para Picker masih mengalami kesulitan karena masih terbiasa, mengingat metode S-Shape di lakukan hanya dengan satu jalur. XYZ has complete stock centers with distribution networks in various countries. In Indonesia, PT. XYZ has a head office that also acts as a warehouse located in East Jakarta with an initial stock of ± 9,000 products with a variety of characteristics. Warehouse PT. XYZ has an area of 2175 m2 using 2-story racking facilities, and is equipped with a pallet selfing to store goods that have a large volume and weight. PT. XYZ has many restaurant customers throughout Indonesia who make purchase orders with a number of items that are not small. So it is necessary to pay attention to the order picking management by the warehouse management. Based on the summary results of the calculation of mileage during the picking process can be seen that the lack of methods applied during the picking process. While the increasing number of orders this will greatly hamper during the picking process. From the results of research conducted on 5 Picking Lists, it is known that the success rate of the S-Shape Routing Method in producing mileage and travel time is very significant at 11.9%. The percentage results show the amount of savings provided by the S-Shape method. But in terms of implementation for the Pickers are still experiencing difficulties because they are still accustomed, given the S-Shape method is done with only one path.
