This purpose of research is to know the correlation between the coping strategies with anxiety in arranging a thesis in students of economic education 2009 degrees faculty of economic State University of Jakarta. Hypotesis of this research is: “Between The Coping Strategies With Anxiety in Arranging a Thesis in Students of Economic Education 2009 Degrees Faculty of Economic State Unversity of Jakarta”. Research methode is using observation methode with correlational approach. Population of this research is Department of Economic and Administration 2009 Degrees, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta.Sampling tehnique is using simple random sampling technique with amount 127 sample. Prerequirement Analisys test is doing before Hypotesis test, they are normallity test and linearity test regression.Normallity test is counted by using Liliefors test. Result of test calculations of lilirfors concluded that the estimated error of regression Y on X is normally distributed with L iv hitung (0.0705) < L (0.078). Linearity test is done by comparing F hitung and F . Of the linearity test, obtain that F hitung (1.05) < F tabel tabel (1.57), it can be concluded that Ho received and the correlation between the coping strategies with student’s anxiety in arranging a thesis is linier. In hypothesis testing, performed using the significance test of regresion, calculation of correlation coefficient, t-test, and calculation for coefficient of determination. The significance regression test showed Fhitung (7,15) > Ftabel (3.92), it can be conclude that regression is significan. Calculation of the correlation coefficient indicates that the relationship between tha variables X and Y have a negativecorrelation of -0,339.test the significance of the correlation coefficient (t-test)using the formula of the product moment from pearson and obtained T hitung (4.022) > T (1.645), it can be conclude that Ho rejected and there is a significant correlation coefficient. The calculation of the coeffisient of determination is 11.46%, it indicates that there is a relationship the coping strategies with student’s anxiety in arranging a thesis.
