- The objectives of this research is to pimpoint the influence of company’s external enveronmental characterisitc on internal environmental charactarisitc and the implication to company’s effectiveness and also to examine the realeted connection among company’s external enviromental characteristic, company’s internal environmental characteristic and company’s effectiveness variables to other factors. The primary data for this research was collected to 50 middle scale manufacturing industries by interviewing five respondents for each Industries in eleven locations in South Sumatera Province. Analysis Model is sused to explain each affect exogen variale to endogen variabel is Structural Equation Model (SEM) and hypothesis significant test with Linear Structural Relation Porgram (LISREL) 8.50. The research resulted some following factual findings: that the effect of company’s external environmental characteristic which consistef of macro (general) environmental and industry environmental moderately significant impact strong effect of industry enviromental which is 87% while the effect of macro environmental is only 13% while the effect of internal environmental characteristic has less impact on company’s effectiveness
