PT. Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk is a company engaged in the manufacturing industry that produces shoes that are labeled Tomkins. In producing the goods, the company always strives to provide the best for consumers, both in terms of quality and price. However, in reality the company faced with the problem of quality achievement. This is evident from the data defect production in 2015 had a defective product that exceeded company standards which have been set by the company which is 2%. Based on these problems, research conducted by using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and by applying some tools of Statistical Quality Control (SQC) including control charts, Pareto diagrams and causal diagram. By processing the data, the type of defect that often arises is less glue. Causal diagram is used to analyze the causes of disability in shoes products were reviewed from the human factor, machines, methods, materials and the environment. FMEA method is used to analyze the potential and the causes of its failure, as well as reduce the chances of failure to provide corrective suggestions. The cause of defects that must be repaired is the cause that has a value of risk priority number (RPN), the largest in the FMEA. Based on the results of data processing, the greatest value of the RPN 245 contained on the type of glue to cause less defects is less.
