  • This research purpose to know the best percentage of protein digestibility response, total and total feed consumption on the seeds of Siamese catfish (Pangasius hypopthalmus) given different feed ingredients, that is Meat Bone Meal (MBM) and Shrimp Head Flour. Comparison of the composition of feed ingredients P1: 100% Commercial, P2: 70% Commercial + 30% Meat Bone Meal (MBM) and P3: 70% Commercial + 30% Shrimp Head Flour. This research using a completely randomized design (CRD), consisting of 3 treatments and 3 replications. Techniques in sampling, namely by collecting feces and fish food leftovers in aquarium container that has been added Cr2O3 (kromium oksid) as an indicator of digestibility during the maintenance period and stored in a refrigerator (low temperature). The sample will be further tested in the laboratory using a 350 nm wavelength spectrophotometer, then its energy is calculated based on the procedure. The reasearch showed that at different protein levels and different raw materials did not have a real effect or each treatment was the same on the level of material digestibility and total digestibility of feed, but the commercial feed treatment had a significant effect on protein digestibility, whereas on the treatment of feed ingredients MBM and shrimp head flour did not have a significant effect on protein digestibility. Meanwhile, the treatment of commercial feed and shrimp head flour gives a real influence on the amount of consumption of Siamese catfish feed
