Daftar Isi:
- Based on observations on March 27 2018, one of the cities selling grated coconut is the city of Tanjung South Kalimantan. Here from the observation there are two markets namely Kapar market and also Tanjung market where there are 11 sellers of grated coconut each there are 4 sellers of grated coconut in the market of flots and also 7 sellers of grated coconut in the market Tanjung. Where in the results obtained coconut shell waste produced from both markets is approximately 440 kg of coconut shells per day or 55kg / hour. And the results of the observation, the sellers did not take advantage of coconut shells from their sales. Coconut shells from sales are only used as potholes, or just left. Below this is one picture of coconut shells that are thrown away without use. From the above justification that has been generated then I took the initiative to make the title of thesis '' DESIGNING MACHINERY OF SHELLS COCONUT CAPACITY 55 KG / H” Where the main purpose of making this machine is to reduce the waste generated by coconut vendors. Because the needs of the grated coconuts themselves in the Cape area is very high around 4400 coconuts per day. If not handled properly then the city of Tanjung will be exposed to environmental pollution caused by coconut shells. later this tool made this will facilitate the work of chicken farmers by using coconut shells to replace the role of fuel for and also to save the cost of the chicken farmers and also reduce environmental pollution.
