- On CV. Cemara Food which is a production company and distributor of packaging industry based on Home Industry still has product distribution problems, namely there is still no distribution route planning, there is no inventory scheduling, most of the distribution process is based on requests from stores or customers that cause demand cannot fulfilled or stockpiling occurs in the warehouse. In addition, based on preliminary data the product delivery is subjective by the driver so that there is a crossing or travel junction from transportation through the road that has been passed repeatedly. The purpose of this study is expected to be able to determine the distribution route planning and use Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) in the CV company. Cemara Food in the control of Cemara soy sauce inventory uses shipping planning and the step approach of the Insertion Sequential Algorithm which the author uses to solve the heuristics of the Green Vehicle Routing Problem (GVRP) in planning distribution routes to minimize costs and energy use (fuel) in product distribution systems to customers. So based on this study it is known to have a fuel cost savings of Rp. 2,363,025 per week with a difference in fuel usage level of 241,125 liters. Savings of total distribution costs of Rp. 2,433,025 per week.
