- Head of the household’s income uncertainty urges other household members, such as wife, to work to make ends meet. This research focuses on women’s role on the improvement of the family economy, women’s profile, analysis on the rate of income and analysis on factors that influence of income of businesswomen of tape home industry, such amount of production, household financial burden and business duration. This research showed that businesswomen of tape home industry had average revenue of Rp 8,299,326 a month. Amount of production, household financial burden, and business duration had a significant influence towards of income of businesswomen of tape home industry at Banjarsari Village, Ngajum District, Malang Regency. Amount of production influenced of income of businesswomen of tape home industry the most.
