- Based on observations and interviews with the Principal of SD Taman Muda 02 Malang on 9th November, 2017 that in the teaching at Taman Muda primary school using the Among system, related to primary school education has been integrated through non-academic activities (extracurricular) which teaches the local wisdom of Malang (Tari Topeng Bapang and Karawitan Jawa). Through extracurricular, the students were expected to be considerate, a subtle karsa that can change the character of students as well as to instill the value of the character. The aimed of this study was to describe: (1) implementation of extracurricular Tari Topeng Bapang at SD Taman Muda 02 Malang, (2) implementation of extracurricular Karawitan Jawa at SD Taman Muda 02 Malang, (3) the value of character education "Local Wisdom of Malang" on the extracurricular Tari Topeng Bapang and Karawitan Jawa at SD Taman Muda 02 Malang. This study used descriptive qualitative research. Sources of data in this study were Principal, extracurricular teacher of Tari Topeng Bapang and Karawitan Jawa, as well as students who follow the extracurricular activities of Tari Topeng Bapang and Karawitan Jawa. This study was conducted on January 29th up to February 27th, 2018. Data collection techniques used interview techniques, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation (data display), and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, to check the validity of data, the researcher was used triangulation technique of source and triangulation technique. The result of the study shows that (1) the implementation of extracurricular Tari Topeng Bapang at SD Taman Muda 02 Malang has been implemented well in every activity including planning, implementation (beginning, core, end), and evaluation of extracurricular activities of Tari Topeng Bapang. (2) the implementation of extracurricular Karawitan Jawa at Taman Muda 02 Malang has been implemented well in every activity including planning, implementation (beginning, core, end), and evaluation of extracurricular activities of Karawitan Jawa. (3) the value of character education "Local Wisdom Malang" on the extracurricular Tari Topeng Bapang and Karawitan Jawa at Taman Muda SD 02 Malang the character value: a.Religious (sub-values: Tolerance, Respect for Differences and Beliefs, Love of Peace and Friendship), b.Nationalist (sub-value: Appreciation of nation's culture, Love of Homeland and Discipline), c.Independent (sub-value: Hard work), d.Mutual cooperation (sub-values: Respect, Solidarity, Anti Discrimination and Cooperation), e.Integrity (sub-values: Responsibility and moral commitment). Of the five values of character, there was a value that does not exist in the Karawitan Jawa, such as religious values, sub-value confidence and independence, sub-value of courage in Tari Topeng Bapang.
