  • Self-regulated learning was students ability in his own set of strategies, covering the mind, feelings and behaviors, ranging from plan, monitor, control, and evaluate itself for achieving an objective in learning. Peer social support was important for students who lived in boarding school, because students lose parents social support, feeling lonely, and students have to adjust with new environment. Those causes students had learning problem, so they need peers support. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of peers social support on self-regulated learning of students who lived in boarding school. This study was a correlational quantitative. This study using random sampling technique for select samples from population. The study participants consisted of 139 students on year one of senior high school. Data was analysed by calculating with a simple regression analyse. The results of the study indicated that peers social support has had a positive significant effect on the self-regulated learning for students who lived in boarding school (R2 = 0,139; p < 0,05).
