- Purpose of this study was to determine how the motivation, ability and performance that occurs in SMKN 4 of Malang, to examine the effect of motivation and the ability to the teacher's performance on SMKN 4 of Malang, and also to determine which variables are dominant among the variables of motivation and ability. Population in this research that all teachers remain on SMKN 4 Malangas many as 73 people. Sampling technique using total sampling technique. To examine the effect of motivation and the ability of the teacher's performance on SMKN 4 of Malang was used F test and T test. To determine the motivation and ability of the teacher's performance occurred in the performance of teachers SMKN 4 of Malang was used Scale range analysis techniques, to analyze the influence of motivation and the ability of the teacher's performance on SMKN 4 of Malang was used a model of multiple linear regression analysis, and to determine where the dominant variables was also used model of multiple linear regression analysis and to locate areas β1, β 2, and F calculated using test distribution right side. High motivation and ability was very high based on the first phenomenon there were frequent problems printing press paper that less can be handled by a teacher. In other words, they must have recourse to other more experienced teachers to be able to handle things or issues that arise.
