- The research findings indicated that the use of mind mapping in teaching grammar was effective and significant to improve the students grammar ability. It was proved by the students’ achievement from the pre-test the mean score of experimental class in post-test was (54.70) and the standard deviation of experimental class was (14.52), while the mean score of controlled class in posttest was (42.94) and its standard deviation was (16.01). It means that, the mean score of controlled class was lower than mean score of experimental class. The result of data analysis was the t-test value (2.177) was higher than the t-table value (2.042). Based on the result, hypothesis test showed us. was rejected and was accepted
