- This study aims to determine the effect of organic mixture can increase P uptake and maize growth on Ultisol. The research was conducted in Aek Goti village, Silangkitan Sub-district, Labuhan Batu Selatan District, North Sumatra Province. This research was conducted from October to April 2018. The experimental method used was Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 2 factors and 3 replications. Factor I giving a mixture of oragnik materials Tithonia diversifolia compost and chicken manure. Factor II of SP36 fertilizer application. The parameters observed were Ph H2O method of Electrometry, P available (ppm) Bray II method, Al-dd (me / 100g) method of tetrimetry, root dry weight (g), crown dry weight (g), P uptake of plant (mg / plant ) can be calculated by the formula:% P plant X dry bobo plant. The results showed that the mixing of organic matter in the form of Tithonia diversifolia compost and chicken manure significantly influenced soil pH, soil Al-dd content, available P, P uptake, dry weight of crown, and root dry weight. The interaction between the mixture of organic matter mix of Tithonia diversifolia compost, chicken manure and SP-36 fertilizer had no significant effect on all parameters.
- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh campuran bahan organic dapat meningkatkan serapan P serta pertumbuhan jagung pada Ultisol. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di desa Aek Goti, Kecamatan Silangkitan Kabupaten Labuhan Batu Selatan, Provinsi Sumatra Utara. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober – April 2018. Metode Percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan 2 faktor dan 3 ulangan. Faktor I pemberian campuran bahan oragnik berupa Kompos Tithonia diversifolia dan pupuk kandang ayam. Faktor II pemberian pupuk SP36. Parameter yang diamati adalah Ph H2O metode Elektrometri, P tersedia (ppm) metode Bray II, Al-dd (me/100g) metode tetrimetri, berat kering akar (g), berat kering tajuk (g), serapan P tanaman (mg/tanaman) dapat di hitung dengan rumus : %P tanaman X bobo kering tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemerian campuran bahan organik berupa kompos Tithonia diversifolia dan pupuk kandang ayam berpengaruh nyata meningkatkan pH tanah, kadar Al-dd tanah, P tersedia, serapan P, bobot kering tajuk, dan bobot kering akar. Interaksi antara pemerian campuran bahan organik berupa kompos Tithonia diversifolia, pupuk kandang ayam dan pupuk SP-36 berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap semua parameter.
