- This research was conducted from August until December 2016 at Juhut Village Pandeglang Regency Banten Province. This research was aimed to know the effect of light intensity level and kind of fertilizer and its interaction to tuber Talas Beneng (Xanthosoma undipes K. Koch). The method used a Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) consisted two factors and three replications. The first factor was the level of light intensity which consisted three levels, namely: 50% light intensity (I1), 25% light intensity (I2) and 100% light intensity (I3). The second factor was the kind of fertilizer, which consisted three levels, namely: NPK fertilizer (P1), organic fertilizer industry petroganik (P) and chicken manure fertilizer + NPK (P3). Data was analysed using ANOVA and if significantly different followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The result showed that the treatment effect of light intensity levels were not significantly effect to all parameters observed, but at a rate of 25% light intensity (I2) tended better result on tuber weight parameter (572,22 g). The use of organic fertilizer industry petroganik (P2) provided the best result on tuber weight (772,22g) and tuber diameter (7,92 cm). There was no interaction between the light intensity level and kind of fertilizer on all parameters observed.
