This study aims to determine whether the ability to write the beginning of group B children can be increased through multisensory methods. This is because, the ability to write the beginning of the child in group B1 in TK Putra II is still low, it is seen when the child is still less able in copying words, drawing shapes, drawing lines, writing names on his work, recognizing the similarities and differences in some letters (b , d, p, q, m, w) and numbers (2, 3, 5, 9), form letters, and write the letters dictated by the teacher. This research was conducted in March and April in second semester of academic year 2016/2017 at TK Putra II of Serang - Banten, with action research method. Subjects in this study were 19 children aged 5-6 years consisting of 7 boys and 12 girls in TK Putra II Serang - Banten. The research procedure of three stages is 1) planning, 2) Action and Observation, 3) Reflection. Data collection techniques through observation, field notes, interview notes and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusion.The results showed that the ability to write the beginning of group B with multisensory method is known that the initial condition of 28% and then in the first cycle increased to 49% and in the second cycle has increased significantly to 77.5% and are on a good scale included in the classification successful. Based on the results of data that have been obtained it can be concluded that the application of multisensory methods can improve the ability to write the beginning of children group B in TK Putra II Serang - Banten.
