- Voki Purnanita Wersa. 2018. The Effect of Varieties and Coconut Water Concetration on the Growth of Synthetic Seedling Phase Shallot Seeds. (Allium ascalonicum L.). Under Guidance Susiyanti and Rusmana. This research was aimed to determine the effect of different varieties and concentrations of coconut water on the seeding phase of synthetic shallot seeds (Allium ascalonicum L.). The design used randomized block design with two factors, the first factor was type of varieties consist of two levels which were Tuktuk and Sanren. The second factor was the concentration of coconut water consisting of four levels : coconut water 0, 25, 50, and 75 ml. Parameters that observed were time to germinate, number of seeds to grow, percentage of seeds to grow, and plant height and number of leaves. The results showed that varieties and the concentration of coconut water gave different results in each parameter, There were interactions between the use of varieties and coconut water. The treatment of Sanren varieties gave the best results on the average number of germinating seeds 11.67, the percentage of seeds germinating 100%, plant height at 24 day after plant 1.40 cm . The concetrations of coconut water 25 ml gave the best results on the average number of germinating seeds which produce 11.67 seeds, the percentage of germinating seeds 100%, plant height 24 DAP 1.76 cm and leaf number on the 14 DAP 1.40, plant height on the 7 DAP 2.30 and number of leaf on 14 DAP 1.80 sheet.
