- The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of budgetary participation on managerial performance. And to know whether the environmental uncertainty, job relevant information, organizational commitment in moderating the participation of budgeting will affect the managerial performance. The respondents who participated in this study were the structural officials of the existing universities in Banten province. Of the 250 questionnaires distributed, 75 data can be processed. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. The statistical method used to test the hypothesis is regression analysis using SPSS program. The results of this study indicate that budget participation has an effect on managerial performance. And this research shows the interaction between budget participation and moderating variables of environmental uncertainty has no effect on managerial performance. Then the interaction between budget participation and moderating variables of job relevant information and organizational commitment have an effect on managerial performance.
