- Economic growth is one of the benchmark to used for increasing the economy development of the various sectors economy that can indirectly describe the level of economic change in the country. This research is entitled “The Effect of Investment, Inflation, exchange Rate of Rupiah and Interest Rate Against Economic Growth in Indonesia of 1984-1983” this research includes on monetary economics which use a study case method in Indonesia. Data analysis model used econometric model with Ordinary Least Square (OLS) equation method by using Eviews program as research data processor. From the analysis conducted showed that variable of investment, inflation, exchange rate of rupiah and interest rate have a significant influence to the economic growth in Indonesia. Investment has’nt negative effect (-) to the economic growth, inflation has negative effect (-) to the economic growth, the exchange rate of rupiah has negative effect (-) to the economic growth and interest rate negative effect (-) to the economic growth. Results of the analysis showed that the coefficient of determination R is 0,838747 which means that the conomic growth be explained by investment, inflation, exchange rate of rupiah and interest rate for 83,87% to dependent variable, so that 16,13% due to variables others are not included in the analysis model. Other variables could have been non-economic factors. Such as politics, defense, social cultural and so on.
