In order to get in-depth explanation about FLSA, there were 10 students interviewed in this study. The FLSAS questionnaire results lwere lanalyzed lwith lSPSS l25.0 by using Pearson Product Moment Correlation and descriptive statistical analysis. Horwitz, lHorwitz land lCope’s l(1986) ltheory labout lforeign language lanxiety (FLA) sources and Horwitz and Young’s (1991) theory about FLA levels were lalso lused. lThis lstudy lfound lthat lthere lis la lsignificant lnegative lcorrelation lbetween FLSA levels and lspeaking lachievement. lThis lmeans lthe lhigher lspeaking lanxiety lthey lexperience, lthe llower lthe achievement lthey lget. lMost lof lthe lstudents are also proven to lhave lmoderate llevels lof FLSA, lwhich lis lmainly ldue lto lthe lfear lof lnegative levaluation, the fear of making mistakes in formal settings, and the lack of selfconfidence. lThis lstudy lindicates lthat lalthough lthe lEFL llearners lare loften lexposed lto lEnglish, lthey lstill lexperience FLSA. lThese lfindings lsuggest lthat lthe llecturers lshould lbe lmore laware lof lstudents’ lanxiety land luse lstrategies lthat lmight lencourage lthe lstudents lto lspeak lconfidently.
