  • As a new, Indonesia has a lot of tourism object especially in big city. Surabaya is the city which has a lot of tourism pbject such as, Kalimas, Jembatan MErah, and Monument of Tugu Pahlawan. Many hotel were built to support this effort. Hotel in Surabaya has level of stars. The level of the hotel is about one until five stars. Four starts hotel has complete facilities and services. However, Surabaya Plaza Hotel can give their best services to their guest, make them satisfied. The writer did her interenship in Surabaya Plaza Hotel as a front officer such as telephone operator, reservation, business center, and reception. During her three months interenship, the writer got many new wxperiance. The writer got a lot of knowledge about basic work at front office department. She also learnt about differences between four stars and five stars hotel especially in its services. for example, five star hotel has a separated bathup and standing shower, while the four star one ha bathup and standing on one set in their bathroom. Furhermore, the five star one also more variant of restaurant , and a luxurious in their room.
