- The aim of this research was to determine the effect of rosella flower petals extract on histopathological features of mice (Mus musculus) kidney. This research used 20 male white mice two months old and 20-25 gram of body weight, ramdomly divided into five groups with four replicates. Control group (P0) were given aquadest 0.01 ml/ gBW, and treatment group (P1, P2, P3, and P4) were given of rosella flower petals extract by varying the dose (2.5 g, 5 g, 10 g, and 20 g). Three weeks after treatment, mice sacrificed and their kidney were taken for histopathology preparation with H.E staining. Histopathology changes score was analized with Kruskal Wallis and Z Test. Kruskal Wallis result showed there was significantly differences between control and treatment groups. Then, followed by the Z test there is a highly significant difference between the control group with each treatment group, and were not significant different between among treatment group.
