  • ZnO/MFe2 O4(M = Mn, Co) nanocomposite had been synthesized as photocatalyst to degrade Rhodamine-B under solar light. These nanocomposite was prepared by sol-gel followed hydrothermal method. The crystal phase, surface morphology, chemical composition and magnetic properties were investigated by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy-Energy Dispersive X-Ray (FESEM-EDX) and Vibrating Sampler Magnetometer (VSM), respectively. XRD pattern showed the specific peaks of MnFe 2 O 4 4 and CoFe 2 O correspond to spinel cubic structure and specific peaks of ZnO appeared correspond to hexagonal wurtzite structure. The difference of metal in MFe 2 O 4 4 influence to nanocomposite morphology. The photocatalytic evaluation carried out by degradation of Rodamine-B under solar light and the result showed that nanocomposite ZnO/CoFe v 2 O has higher activity compared with ZnO/MnFe 2 O 4, MFe 2 O , and ZnO.
