- Taxonomy of Vertebrate Animals is considered difficult by students because the scope of material in this course is quite broad and contains many terms that must be understood. On the topic of Osteichthyes, one of the difficulties experienced by students is due to the use of learning media that is less attractive so that it is not enough to increase students' understanding of the material. This study aims to develop learning media based on Smart Apps Creator on Osteichthyes material by measuring the feasibility of the learning media which was carried out in September 2022 at the Department of Biology, FMIPA, State University of Medan. This research is a development research that uses a research model consisting of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate (4D). The subjects of this study consisted of 2 media expert lecturers and 2 material expert lecturers, 26 PSB 20 A class students for small class trials and 48 students from PSB 21 A class, and PSB 21 D for large class trials. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the development of learning media based on Smart Apps Creator on Osteichthyes material received an assessment of 83.48% from material experts, 87.99% from media experts, 92.01% from small group student responses, and 92.94% from student responses. big group. So it can be concluded that the learning media based on Smart Apps Creator material Osteichthyes is very feasible to use for learning at the State University of Medan.
