  • This research aims to determine the relationship and contribution of visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles toward Problem Solving Ability of Human Skeletal System Problem in grade XI Science SMAN 1 Silaen with academic year 2018/2019.The population for this research were all students in grade XI Science SMAN 1 Silaen was 158 students with sample of research as many as 93 students. This research is an ex-post facto. The data was collected by using questionnaires with Likert scale for learning styles and essay questions for Problem Solving Ability of Human Skeletal System topic. Then, the data was analyzed by using linear regression. The results of this research showed that: (1) There was a positive effect and significant of visual learning style towards Problem Solving Ability of students as evidenced by Fcount = 4.572, Regression line equation is Y = 29.163+ 0.309X1with Contribution is 4,7%; (2) There was a positive effect and significant of auditory learning style towards Problem Solving Ability of students as evidenced by Fcount = 5.828,Regression line equation is Y = 26.507+ 0.370X2with Contribution is 6.0%; (3) There was a positive influence and significant of kinesthetic learning style towards Problem Solving Ability as evidenced by Fcount= 8.307, Regression line equation is Y = 24.669+ 0.408X3with Contribution is 8.3%.
