  • This article presents the results of a study of the relationship between reading and citizen education in the context of work with young people which the School of Juvenile Animation in Medellín, Colombia, has been undertaking. For that purpose this paper considers the idea of reading from the comprehensive keys of modernity and goes into the matter of citizen education considered as a pedagogical practice within specific contexts of political culture.
