- It describes the user training program of the Central Library of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, that meets the growing demand for training from the Faculty for databases research (According to the user survey conducted by the Library in 2005, 84.2% of respondents said teachers need training on the management of information resources available from the Library), low use of electronic resources subscribed (the same user study showed that 50% of teachers did not use the databases subscribed by lack of knowledge) and ignorance on the part of students of different types of resources available (both primary and secondary). Since 2006 the Central Library has trained 2700 students and 175 faculty about databases online searching in the areas studied at the School. It presents the evaluation of the workshops for students, and the results and conclusions of the implementation of this Programme
