Daftar Isi:
- At the Department of Physics, of the Faculty of Exact Sciences, of the National University of La Plata, Argentina, since 2004, we had began to built an Institutional Repository (IR) that contains a lot of items (conference papers, working papers, technical reports, thesis, dissertations, etc.) on Physics and other related sciences. The goal of this repository is to broadcast all over the world documents that have a high historic value. The digitalization had started with the Journal Polytechnique ou Bulletin du Travail, Premier cahier, 1794. This working paper was free of copyright, because it dates from five years after the French Revolution. At this time, we also had began to digitalize the thesis that had been written at the Department of Physics of National University of La Plata, and others. The repository was built with the open source software Dspace which is the choice for academic, non-profit, and commercial organizations building open digital repositories. It is free and easy to install "out of the box" and completely customizable to fit the needs of any organization. It preserves and enables easy and open access to all types of digital content (e.g., text, images, moving images, mpegs and data sets. It has an ever-growing community of developers, committed to continuously expanding and improving the software benefits from the next (E-People and Groups). This user’s manual presents the most important aspects –from its goals, elements, hardware and software requirements; the content types, the supported formats, the types of end-users –real and virtual, the author end-users, communities, sub-communities and collections, the metadata scheme, the addition of globally static content, the submission process to a collection. Many of DSpace's functions -such as document discovery and retrieval- can be used anonymously. Other features are only available to certain users. The interface enables the Creative Commons license step in the submission process of the Java Script User Interface (JSPUI). The Creative Commons license govern the use of the content. l
