- Analysis of the changes undergone by Leon University Library in the past years to integrate, together with the rest of the University services, into the convergence and integration within the European Space for Higher Education. Firstly, the rationalization in the library holding’s distribution and thematic area libraries’ boosting convey the building of new facilities and the adaptation of those already existing. This will enable the creation of spaces open for the teaching/learning model and life-long permanent training, which are the pillars proposed as bases by the Bologna Declaration. Secondly, evolution undertaken by León University Library regarding its electronic resources diffusion, which is essential for IT literacy of the whole university community. Fully updated contents and a commitment to users’ training will implement a new web which aims at offering every tool necessary for regular tasks. Last but not least, process of evaluation in which our library is involved so as to work under quality criteria to offer better services and attain that convergence advocated by Europe.
