- Fisherman's wife has multiple roles in the family, as a housewife and also as a breadwinner, a fisherman's wife helping her husband’s work for the family. The objective of this study was to analyze the role of the fisherman's wife increasing the family income in the Tasikagung village. Object of this research is the fisherman's wife who works in the village Tasikagung, Rembang Residence. This research used primary data and secondary data. Dependent variable used in this research is a fisherman's wife’s income. While the independent variables are age, education level and working hours. In determining the location of the research, this research uses sampling purposive method and the data collected will be analyzed with multiple linear regression model. The results showed that the role of the fisherman's wife in an effort to increase family income in the Rembang Residence is to work as industrial workers. The factors that significantly influence to the income of fishermen’s wife is age and education, while working hours does not significantly affect the income of fisherman's wife
