- Urban extension cause urban transportation is not effective. Because apart transportations which is far from downtown to outskirts. This condition progressively with the happening of oil price fluctuation which tend to increasing. Town Semarang as capital of Central Java cannot get out of town growth phenomenon by sprawl. visible growth Sprawl Town Semarang from to the number of located new resident far from downtown. Result of study show that change of transportation pattern influenced by sprawl characteristic of Town Semarang. Growth sprawl Town Semarang not yet been supported enough by publik transport. To close over transportation expense improvement effect, tendency applied in social activities is lessen expense consume food.
