- With increasingly advanced and sophisticated computer technology today, especially on a PC and server, marked by the emergence of a processor with dual core 2 (duo core), 4 (quad core) even up to six (hexa-core). Though not all the current applications, especially outside of 3D animation and games that can make optimum use of many-core processors (multiprocessor), make sophisticated processors are work with lower utilization levels or just a few resources are used. Advanced processors can be utilized to run applications and services in virtualization. Virtualization can be seen as part of an overall trend in enterprise IT today. Virtualization techniques are increasingly popular and widely used, because in addition to saving resources, can also have a pretty good performance in running various services on a server in a network. In fact, virtualization can now run on the cluster infrastructure, which will form the HA (High Availability) server. By using applications like VirtualBox and Proxmox, which is a tool that is powerful, easy-setting and especially free, can be made a virtual appliances that include the functions and services on a server in the actual network. It aims to prove how effective and efficient use of virtualization on many-core computers (multi processor) is.
