- The objective of this research was to study the correlation among root density with growth and yield various variety of soybeans (Glycine max L. Merril). This research was done on June 2008 to October 2009 in Sidoarum village, Godean, Sleman, D. I. Yogyakarta with it height is 113 m on sea surface and type of soil is Regosol and Laboratory of Agriculture Faculty of Gadjah Mada University. This research used Randomized Completed Block Design with single factor treatment which consisted of three replications. The treatment was seventeen variety of soybeans
