  • PT Millennium Pharmacon International Tbk is a company engaged in the distribution of pharmaceutical products, food supplements and diagnostics (medical equipment), with distribution coverage throughout Indonesia (nation wide). Principals who entrust their products distributed consists of the principal multi-national and national principals, to distribute. Strategic issues being faced by PT Millennium Pharmacon International Tbk is increasingly growing number of competitors engaged in similar, less than the maximum promotional activities, the issue of fuel price increases, government regulations, lack of loyalty partners and others. With the strategic issues, PT Millennium Pharmacon International Tbk need a strategy to remain competitive with its peers. The research method used in this research is descriptive research, namely the discussion that is done without testing the hypothesis, but only describe the results of research in the form of numbers and sentences. By conducting interviews of employees of PT. MPI then analyzed using the SWOT and QSPM. Based on the results of matrix analysis of the Internal-External is known that the best strategy used by PT. Millennium Pharmacon International, Tbk is a strategy of growth/stability or collectively, and Maintain Hold strategy, in which alternative strategies that can be taken is the intensive strategy, which consists of market penetration, market development, and product development. Based on the analysis QSPM also known that alternative strategies should be implemented PT. Millennium Pharmacon International, Tbk in the future to compete is SO strategy, the strategy followed by WO, and WT strategies and alternative strategies that last one is the ST strategy.
