- Progeny tests of/1. auriculifiemis in Pendopo South Sumatra and in Wonogiri Central Java was established on February 1996 consisting of 129 hall-sib families from I 1 provenances. Analysis of progeny test or A. ruffled ijimnis on 70 months old in the two separate locations was conducted to obtain information of environment family interaction. The inlbrrnation will be uses to select the best family in the progeny tests as material for seedling seed orchard of the species. The progeny tests was established using RUH) with 4 trees per plot, 5 replications in Central Java and 8 replications in South Sumatra. Spacing was 4 111 between rows and 2 m within rows. The measurement on 70 months old in the progeny tests was assessed heigt, d.b.h, and stem-form. Analyses of variance (ANOVA) was carried out to check fOr site effect, variation of family and provenance. The genetic parameters for individual heritability and genetic correlation among traits were calculated. According to analysis. the result showed that variation of A. eturicuhfilrmis were found among provenances and within provenances in diameter, height and stem-form. No interaction between family and location were found in diameter and stem-limn. Estimation of individual heritability was 0,16 on height
