- ABSTRAK The research of pressure treatment effect on wood strength was intended to find out of the building wood strength was done vacum-pressure (full-cell process). The method for this research were three hind of wood i.e. kapur, red meranti and white meranti was done by preservation treatment 10 atmosphere gauge pressure method for 2 hours. The preservative using concentration of 2% and 3% Impralit CKB. The strength of preservated~ samples of 5 cm x 10 cm x 150 cm and 5 cm x 10 cm x 20 cm were tested using universal testing machine. The result showed that preservation treatment by 10 atmosphere pressure gauge for 2 hours didn't affect the wood strength. Keywords: pressure � strength � preservation
