- The research aims are examining correlation and the most affected social � economic dwellers factor related slums and explaining the perception of residents of the slum improvement in the Wonokromo District This research take three sample area in the Wonokromo District and using quantitative method and the Likert method. Based on correlation Product Moment shown that family income and education graduate years have positive correlation related slum levels and family income it self is the most affecting factor why up and down levels in slums area. Moreover, slums dweller have perception to upgrading structuring settlements, clearing the village, river preservation, the availability of trash containers, drainage improvement program, the availability and cleanliness of the communal toilet.
