Daftar Isi:
- Global climate change leads to changes in rainfall patterns, making it difficult to predict the occurrence of drought or flooding. Flood inundation influence on the growth of rice plants. The aims of this research is to study physiological, anatomical, and biochemical responses of rice variety Inpara 5 on different inundation conditions. This research was conducted in the greenhouse, Faculty of Biology, UGM, from March to December 2012. The experiment was designed in Completely Randomized Design with 2 factors : depth of inundation and inundation period. The first factor was depth of inundation i.e: T0 = 0 cm, T1 = 4 cm, T2 = 8 cm, and T3 = 12 cm. The second factor was inundation period i.e: P1 = 10 days inundation on the vegetative phase, P2 = 10 days inundation on the reproductive phase, and P3 = 10 days inundation on the vegetative and reproductive phase. The parameters observed were physiological parameters i.e : plant height, number of tillers, flowering age, chlorophyll content, plant biomass, and yields
