  • Background : Ngesti Waluyo Parakan Hospital has a very complex composition of staffs, seen from status of staffs and type of their jobs. Because of the reason, hospital needs to make a system for compensation delivery that accurate and satisfied staffs. Management are afraid that inconvenience staffs towards compensation system will decreasing their motivation, especially nurses Objective : The main purpose of this research was to examine the correlation between satisfactory compensation and nurse performance at spatial logde nursed of Ngesti Waluyo Parakan Hospitalâ�� Method : Design on this research it is observational quantitative with cross sectional method. The subjects ot this research were 54 nurses. The data were collected using two questionaires: satisfaction to compensation and nurse performance questionaires. Data were analyzed using linier regression, partial corellation, and Pearsonâ��s Ptroduct Moment. Results : the result of the research are: (1) the was a very significant and positive corellation between satisfactory compensation to nurse performance, (2) there was not significant corellation between aged harassed factor and respondent working life. Suggestions: the study suggests that continuous planned effort needed to be implemented to improve nurses and other staffs compensation, by adding compensation types and numbers. In line with that action, the management starts to measure staffs performances. An effort to increase continuing performance needs to be performed by nurses/staffs in order to get better compensation.
