KARAKTERISTIK PENDERITA DIARE AKUT PADA ANAK USIA 6 - 35 BULAN DI RS BALI MANDARA TAHUN 2020-2021

- ABSTRAK Suatu sebab meningginya angka kesakitan dan kematian pada anak dalam seluruh dunia termasuk Indonesia ialah diare. Prevalensi insiden diare sebesar 6,7% dan prevalensi episode 20,3% paling sering terjadi pada kelompok usia 6 sampai 35 bulan. Tujuan dari penyelenggaraan riset unuk memahami karakteristik diare pada anak usia 6 sampai 35 bulan di RSUD Bali Mandara tahun 2020-2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode obeservasional deskriptif potong lintang (cross-sectional) pada penderita diare akut usia 6-35 bulan di RSUD Bali Mandara Tahun 2020-2021. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dari 82 sampel yang didapatkan, mayoritas penderita diare akut pada anak di RSUD Bali Mandara berjenis kelamin laki – laki (61%) dengan distribusi terbanyak pada kelompok usia 6-12 bulan (51,2%). Dengan lama rawat selama ? 7 hari (100%). Sebanyak 96,3 % penderita tidak mengalami diare berdarah dan cenderung penderita memiliki status gizi yang baik (89%), disertai dengan riwayat dehidrasi ringan-sedang (59,8%), tidak memiliki penyakit komorid (100%) dan belum mendapatkan vaksin rotavirus (86,8%). Tingkat pendidikan terakhir orang tua penderita diare akut paling banyak menempuh pendidikan hingga perguruan tinggi (36,6%). Masih banyak penderita yang tidak mendapatkan ASI eksklusif (82,9%) dan terdapat sumber air bersih dirumahnya (90,2%). Kata kunci :diare, karakteristik, anak
- ABSTRACT One of the causes of high morbidity and mortality in children around the world, including Indonesia, is diarrhea. The incidence prevalence of diarrhea is 6.7% and the prevalence of episodes is 20.3% most frequently occurring in the age group of 6 to 35 months. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of diarrhea in children aged 6 to 35 months at Bali Mandara Hospital in 2020-2021. This study used a descriptive observational cross-sectional method in patients with acute diarrhea aged 6-35 months at Bali Mandara Hospital in 2020-2021. The results of this study were of the 82 samples obtained, the majority of acute diarrhea sufferers in children at Bali Mandara Hospital were male (61%) with the highest distribution in the age group 6-12 months (51.2%). With length of stay for ? 7 days (100%). As many as 96.3% of patients did not experience bloody diarrhea and tended to have good nutritional status (89%), accompanied by a history of mild-moderate dehydration (59.8%), did not have comorbid diseases (100%) and had not received the rotavirus vaccine. (86.8%). The last level of education of parents with acute diarrhea was most educated up to university (36.6%). There are still many sufferers who do not get exclusive breastfeeding (82.9%) and have clean water sources at home (90.2%). Keywords: diarrhea, characteristics, children
