  • AbstractThis study aims to describe the implementation of learning written reviews in class VIII at SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak. This research describes the learning of learning including planning the implementation of learning, implementing learning, evaluating learning, and learning fluency.This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The object of this research is the class VIII Indonesian teacher at SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak. The object of research is focused on the implementation of review text learning. The type of data used is qualitative data in the form of descriptive observations. The data obtained through observation and document analysis.Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the learning implementation plan made by the teacher is in accordance with the provisions regulated by the 2013 curriculum and syllabus, so that it can be used as a reference in implementing learning. The learning implementation is in accordance with the learning design so that the desired learning objectives can be achieved properly. Implementation of learning evaluation has been carried out to measure the achievement of the desired competencies.Every learning or activity must have appropriate disturbances or obstacles, in learning to write review texts in classes VIII D and VIII E of SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak, facing several security such as: lack of student interest in learning, unstable internet network, lack of facilities students in taking courageous learning.Keywords: Learning, Text Reviews, and Writing
