Material examined. Table 1. Presence of 33–34 branched anal-fin rays and upper position of the mouth. It is a rare species in the Moksha River (Fig. 4) and it was observed in the flowing oxbow lakes in the lower and middle portions of the river (12.5%), as well as in the middle and lower portion of the main river channel itself (7.7%). The share in catches is less than 1%.
