- This study was carried out to investigate the effects of Vesicular-Arbuscular Mycorrhizae (VAM) inoculation on the growth of peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) grown on calcareous soils. The result of this experiment showed that mycorrhizal colonisation significantly increase plant growth (plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight of shoot, and relative growth rate), but did not influence fresh weight of root.
