oleh -, WINARSIH -; THE RELATION OF SEXUAL BEHAVIOUR AMONGST GAY COMMUNITY AND THE OUTBREAK OF HIV/AIDS (A Qualitative Descriptive Study Of Gay Community In Surakarta) Winarsih Sebelas Maret University Abstract: In Indonesia, HIV/AIDS cases were spread out to several social community. This community was called HIV/AIDS risk infected community. Early, HIV/AIDS only attack community that do the prostitution but now it was spread out until the housewife community. It was happened because a high mobility of HRM (High Risk Man) as a main actor in spreading HIV/AIDS. In indonesia HRM not only limited in the buyer and the subject of sex but also in a homosexual-gay community. The existence of unwelknown gay community has a big contribution in spreading the HIV/AIDS. The common way in infecting HIV/AIDS is by doing sexual activity. The little understanding of safety sex by gay community and the dificulty of government in controling the gay community activities caused the HIV/AIDS attrack easily. From the reason above it should be a deep understanding about a safety sex and all social element, NGO, and government should be responsible to control it. Oleh : Siti Solekhah ABSTRACT The objectives of this study were to understanding (1) The implementation thematic learning, (2) problems in their learning theme, and (3) strategy in their learning problem solving thematic learning in SD Muhammadiyah Program Khusus. This research method using descriptive qualitative research strategy with case studies. Sampling techniques using purposive sampling techniques and snowball sampling. Technical data collection to use an interview in-depth, the observation are passive, and a study documents. The Validity is data using triangulation source and triangulation method. Analysis of data using interactive methods consists of data collection, reducing data, intepretasi data, and the with drawal conclusion. The results showed that the thematic learning still requires improvements of the various sides. (1) Implementation of thematic learning begins with the preparation, the teachers make RPP and prepare instructional media. Furthermore, the learning process using the method of discussion and games. Last seen the evaluation of cognitive, affective and psychomotor. (2) Problems in thematic learning of students who appear difficult to change the understanding of learning KTSP into thematic learning. In terms of the student's parents do not understand the concept of thematic learning, while teachers have difficulty preparing lesson plans and thematic evaluation results. (3) problem-solving strategies in thematic learning that teachers help students adapt to the concept. Besides the training of teachers of government schools and internal discussions to find a way out of the problem. While schools provide outreach to parents about thematic learning. Conclusions from this research that the thematic learning can help children construct knowledge through a scientific approach, critical thinking and group discussion. Teacher’s creativity can solve various problems in thematic learning, particularly from students. Key words: Program Khusus, Thematic learning, Elementary School Children.

IMPLEMENTATION OF LEARNING TOGETHER (LT) MODEL TO IMPROVE STUDENTS’ ACHIEVEMENT ON SOCIAL INSTITUTION SUBJECT IN CLASS XII SOCIAL 2 SMA NEGERI 5 SURAKARTA ACADEMIC YEAR 2014/2015 . Thesis. Teacher Training and Education Faculty Sebelas Maret University, January 2015. This research is aimed at improving students’s achievement on a particular subject of instruction in Sociology that is Social Institution through Learning Together (LT) model. Students of class XII Social 2 SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta academic year 2014/2015 has become the subject of this reseach. Data were collected from both teachers and students. Data collection techniques used in this research were observation, interview, document analysis, test, and questionnaire. The data were analyzed through qualitative descriptive analysis. The result shows that the implementation of Learning Together (LT) model has improved the students’ achievement on Social Institution subject of both cognitive and affective aspect. Based on cognitive test cycle I, students’ passing grade percentage reached 81,25% and class’ mean grade was 81,9. Those were increased in cycle to that shows 93,75% for the students’ passing grade percentage and the class’ mean grade increased to 89.9. The affective achievement increased as well from 73,17% in cycle I to 86,51% in cycle II. Key words : Learning Together (LT), students’ achievement.

oleh Budi, Bangun Setia; ABSTRACT Purposes of this research are (1) To know the teacher’s strategies in implementing curriculum 2013 in Senior High School 2 Surakarta, (2) to Know how teachers in Senior High School 2 Surakarta understanding curriculum 2013. This research used descriptive qualitative approach with case study research. The types of data used were primary and secondary data. The primary data is the verbal data obtained from interviews with informants consisting of headmaster, vice headmaster, teachers, students, and by observation to Senior High School 2 Surakarta. The secondary data is a document or file on the data of teachers and their competence. The sampling technique in this research was purposive sampling. The techniques of collecting data were indept interview, observation and collecting documentation. The validity of the data used triangulation of data and triangulation method.The technique of analyzing data used interactive model of analysis. The result of research showed that: (1) The problem of teachers in implementing the curriculum 2013 is the lack of socialization given to teachers and there are no books appropriate subjects to the curriculum in 2013 as a source of learning. (2) Teacher’s strategies for the implementation of the curriculum 2013 is to ask fellow teachers, especially in MGMP activities; looking for a reference book as a source of learning activities; and search for information by browsing on the internet. The strategies that undertaken by teachers is one form of self-learning to support the implementation of the curriculum in 2013 at Senior High School 2 Surakarta. oleh Novita, Aisar; Universitas Sumatera Utara, Siregar, Luthfi A.M .; Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi respon pertumbuhan dan produksi rosella (hibiscus sabdariffa L.) pada tanah salin dengan pemberian asam salisilat dan giberellin (GA3). Penelitian ini dilakukan di rumah kaca, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan, pada Februari 2014 sampai Juni 2014. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 (tiga) factor dan 3 (tiga) ulangan. Faktor pertama giberellin (GA3) dengan dua taraf yaitu 0 mg L-1, 5 mg L-1. Faktor kedua asam salisilat dengan tiga taraf yaitu 0 mM, 0,5mM, 1 mM. Faktor ketiga tingkat salinitas dengan 2 taraf yaitu 0 dsm-1 dan 4-5 dsm-1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi antara giberellin dan cekaman salinitas memperlihatkan pengaruh nyata pada peubah pertumbuhan seperti persentase perkecambahan, tebal kutikula dan betakaroten. Interaksi antara perlakuan asam salisilat dan cekaman salinitas memperlihatkan pengaruh nyata pada tebal kutikula dan betakaroten. Interaksi tiga factor perlakuan giberellin, asam salisilat dan cekaman salinitas menunjukkan pengaruh yang nyata pada peubah tebal kutikula dan betakaroten. The purpose of this study were (1) To understand the teacher’s and students’ comprehension process in AL-Muayyad Surakarta Senior High School about their multicultural education in the year 2013/2014, (2) To understand the students’ comprehension process about multicultural education in AL-Muayyad Suratkarta Senior High School in the year 2013/2014 (3) To understand the implementation of multicultural education in the Al-Muayyad Surakarta Senior High School’s environment in the year 2013/2014. This study was conducted in Al-Muayyad Surakarta Senior High School. The form of this study was qualitative with phenomenological approach. The data obstaed from the teachers, students of Al-Muayyad Surakarta Senior High School, are Muslim Boarding School’s committee of Al-Muayyad Surakarta as comparative variable of multicultural education. The sample was taken by using purposive random sampling technique which was done by considering the truth as the purpose. The data gathering technique were deep interviewing attached to head foundation, head master, teachers, curriculum vice headmaster, student vice headmaster, dormitory committee, and students of Al-Muayyad Senior High School. The data validity used was resources triangulation. The data analysis technique were interactive analysis included data gathering, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The findings showed that (1) The comprehension which was declared by informant as teacher and students about multicultural education was very vary especially for the teachers which were match with their subject, (2) Based on the percentage of students’ mastering level of multicultural material in subject PPKN, Sociology, and Aswaja can be concluded that students were in the category of good mastering material, therefore the implementation of multicultural education had reached the target proposed by the teachers, (3) The value arediscipline, religious, work hard, creative, honest, and specifically in multiculturalism such as democratic, tolerant, and social care in the implementation of multicultural education in AL-Muayyad Senior High School Surakarta can be found in the subject of PPKN, Sociology, and Aswaja, (4) In the environment of Muslim boarding school, habit ware an appropriate way to implement multicultural education in students’ daily activities. Thesis, Surakarta: Teacher Training and Education Faculty. Sebeleas Maret University. January 2014. This research was aimed to improve the activeness and achievement of students of class XI IIS 4 SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta in academic year 2014/2015 by implementing a type of cooperative learning that is Numbered Head Together (NHT). This is a classroom action research that includes two cycles during the collecting data process. Each cycle included planning, acting, observing, and reflecting stages. The subject was thirty one students of class XI IIS 4 SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta. Both teachers and students became the sources of the data. Observation and test were used as the main techniques of collecting data, while interview and documentation were used as secondary technique. The data were analyzed through descriptive analysis technique. The result shows that the implementation of Numbered Head Together (NHT) as a cooperative learning type can improve students’ activeness and achievement in sociology in class XI IIS 4 SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta. The improvement can be seen by through pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. The percentage of students’ activeness improved from 19,35% in the pre-cycle to 45,16% in cycle I and 83,87% in cycle II. The improvement from the affective aspect seen in cycles stage that is 86, 23 % in cycle I to 95, 83 % in cycle II. The last improvement is seen from students’ achievement. The students’ mean score in pre cycle was 82,19 that improved to 84,48 in cycle I and finally imroved to 88,87% in cycle II. Based on the research, it can be taken a conclusion that the implementation of Numbered Head Together (NHT) as a cooperative learning type can improve students’ activeness and achievement in sociology in class XI IIS 4 SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta. The purposes of this research are (1) to know the existence the art of incling in society Somongari in the modernization era (2) to know the efforts to preserve the art of incling. Location of the research was conducted in Desa Somongari Kecamatan Kaligesing Kabupaten Purworejo, by reason of until now still maintains and conserve the art of incling as cultural heritage. This research is qualitative research with case study. The main data source is obtained from informant interviewed. While the other data sources are obtained from observation and documentation study. The sampling techniques used purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The data collection techniques used observation and exhaustive interview with 10 informants which consists of chairman, community leaders, players, village governments, local governments (DIKBUDPORA) Purworejo. Test the validity of the data used triangulation data. Analytical techniques used interactive data analysis model that is data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Based on research result it can be concluded that (1) existence the art of incling in modernization era is still maintained and conserved the art of incling accordance with the traditions of the ancestors. The art of Incling is not affected by the modernization that is always demanding progress. Althought people have known modernization the changes in life and they have been obeying the mindset changing times,however they still preserve the traditional art such as inherited by ancestors and still proved exist in modernization era. Existence art Incling also had an impact on the development of society who experience social change in an era of modernization. Various activities held by the community to change the negative habits of society Somongari especially young people to be more focused and get positive activities that benefit themselves and society. The efforts made by the society, the community and the government to encourage the younger generation to preserve the art Incling. Held a variety of activities that have a positive impact, people participate in activities held by the community and village government and local government provide facilities for each community that would support the existence of art incling in modernization era. ACTIVE LEARNING MODEL APPLICATION TYPE EVERYONE IS A TEACHER HERE TO IMPROVE STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES IN SOCIOLOGY SUBJECT IN 1 SOCIAL SCIENCE GRADE 11th STATE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 1 OF PEJAGOAN ACADEMIC YEAR 2013/2014. Thesis, Surakarta: Faculty of Teacher Training Education. Sebelas Maret University. 2014. The purpose of this research is to discover that the application of active learning model type Everyone is a Teacher Here can improve student learning outcomes in Sociology subjects in 1 Social Science Grade 11th State Senior High School 1 of Pejagoan. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) collaborative type. The study consisted of two cycles in which each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The Subjects of this study were students of 1 Social Science Grade 11th State Senior High Schol 1 of Pejagoan totaling 33 students. The main data collection techniques are observation and tests, while the supporting techniques of data collection are through interviews and documentation. The validity of the data used triangulation techniques. Data analysis was performed using the techniques of critical analysis and comparative descriptive statistical techniques. Based on the results of data analysis, the cognitive learning outcomes of the students in each cycle have increased. In pre-action average value obtained was 72.79, while in the first cycle reaches its average value increased 75.60 or 2.81 of pre-action, and the second cycle reached 81.58, increasing 5.98 from the first cycle. In addition, mastery of cognitive learning outcomes also increased in each cycle. In pre-action percentage of students who completed were 57, 58%, in the first cycle, the percentage of students who complete reaches 75.76%, increasing up to 18.18% from pre-action, and the second cycle the percentage of students who complete reaches 90.91%, increasing up to 15.15 % from cycle I. Besides the increasing of cognitive aspect outcomes, affective and psychomotor learning outcomes also showed an increase in. In the first cycle, the average affective learning outcomes only reached 71.92, and the second cycle reached 78.38, increasing up to 6.46 from cycle I. The psychomotor domain, in the first cycle, an average of the results of their study only reached 71.57, and the second cycle reached 78.33, increasing up to 6.76 from cycle I. The conclusion of this research is that the application of active learning model type Everyone is a Teacher Here improves student learning outcomes in Sociology subjects in 1 Social Science Grade 11th State Senior High Schol 1 of Pejagoan.
